Sport

In its short history, ºÃɫСÒÌ has established a fine reputation for excellence in sport. A team of subject specialists teach PE and Games and we also employ a number of professional coaches.

Pupils have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of both team and individual sport. Many pupils go on to represent ºÃɫСÒÌ and an impressive number gain county, national and international honours.

We attempt to engage all pupils in a range of sports by focusing on a different sport each term in games lessons, and giving pupils a wide and varied physical education through the timetabled lessons. In addition to Games, the weekly Activity Lessons allow pupils to play a wide range of sports.

Most sports have teams that compete in fixtures and competitions against other schools in the region. Pupils represent the School at matches which take place both during the week and at weekends, usually on Saturdays. We achieve considerable regional and national success in these fixtures. Our sporting success in due to the number of pupils playing sport and attending practices.
